Consider this a follow-up to the previous post. I just stumbled across this video on YouTube of comedian Rob Paravonian ranting about Pachelbel’s Canon in D. I feel his pain. Well, instead of playing the cello, I played bass. And despite only have 8 notes, our orchestra conductor didn’t trust me to do it well enough to actually play it in public. Didn’t stop me from practicing it, anyway.
Anyway, Paravonian proves that Canon in D is so insidious that it has found it’s way into contemporary music AND YOU CAN’T ESCAPE.
